Previous Public Consultation
Two Public Forums were conducted as part of the feasibility study. That was a continuation of the previous Local Forum held in November 2006.
- The First Public Forum
The First Public Forum was held on 8 September 2007. The aim of the First Public Forum was to present idea for improvement works for Mui Wo Facelift and to collect views and feedbacks from the local communities, interested groups and the general public. The Forum was attended by 88 members of the public.
The preliminary ideas presented at the forum were not final proposals. They were conceptual suggestions to serve as a basis for public discussion. The Government is open-minded on the proposals and only proposals that have good public support will be taken forward.

- The Second Public Forum
The Second Public Forum was held on 31 May 2008. With public views collected from the First Public Forum, analysis and further study have been carried out. The enhancement proposals were presented in the Second Public Forum to invite public views to establish general consensus. The Forum was attended by 130 members of the public.
